for the longest time I've been debating on how to make my cg artworks, either:

1. sketch on paper, ink on paper, then colour in photoshop
2. sketch on paper, ink in photoshop, then colour in photoshop

which is better? and what are the benefits?


pro's of inking in photoshop:
- ctrl + z
- perfectly smooth lines
- don't need to clean up lines (you would if you scanned the inked-on-paper version)

con's of inking in photoshop:
- takes toooooooo loooong
- hard to draw hair - the strands
- lines are too "stiff", unrealistic kinda....no depth

and because i've only done 2 pieces of cg in my life, i'm not pro enough to ink in photoshop without it looking like crap and taking less than an hour.

suggestions??? which method should i use? what are more pro's and con's?
